Holding myself publicly accountable for my health
In order to make myself publicly accountable for my health, I am committing to publishing my weekly weight loss successes and failures starting today.
I recently read “Four Hour Body” by Timothy Ferris, and it has re-motivated me to do something to improve my health, namely, losing weight. In the book, he describes something he terms “Slow Carb”, which is very similar to low carb, which has been very successful for me in the past (although I have not been able to stick to it long-term). This “diet” is something that I think I can follow, even while traveling for work. I believe it can help me to get healthier in order to feel better and to live longer.
I will be publishing the results of my weekly weigh-ins here, and will be updating periodically with my successes and failures, including food, exercise, measurements, and other relevant details.
I started the diet last Monday, and will be weighing each Saturday, and reporting my weight loss results, starting today, with my next post.
